The ink will be used up soon when the ink indicator light glimmers. Please replace the cartridge when the indicator light went out, it can prevent the air in and the ink dried making the nozzle blocked or damaged.

Step 1.
Replace inkjet cartridge

A. Press the Paper Button (or Installation Button, please refer to your printer's manual) for 3 seconds, the printing head will move to the left.
B. Pull the yellow label on the inkjet cartridge
C. Open up the protection cap and take out the used-up cartridge, install new cartridge and close the protection cap.

Step 2.
Clear the printing head

Press the Paper Button (or Installation Button), the printer will clear the printing head automatically, which can fill in the ink and get rid of the air.

Step 3.
Check the printing head

Please check the printing head after step 2. clear the nozzle if there are some blocking problems.
 
A. cleans the printing head (please refer to your printer's manual)
B. check the testing paper to see if there are any line-lacks problems. If there are any, please clear the nozzle 2-3 times, then check the testing paper again. There will be not such problems after several above-mentioned procedures.

Some factors related to inkjet cartridge's period of validity

A. Please use red, yellow and cyan well proportioned when you use color cartridge, because the rest will be not in phase if a color is used-up.
B. It is general that more ink will be used if the dpi is high.
C. Less ink will be used for light colors, while more ink will be used for red and cyan because they need one or more colors to be composed.
